Relinquish M Tablets is a brand of Artemisinin + Piperaquine that is used in the treatment of malaria. Piperaquine is an antiparasitic medication which treats malaria. It works by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite.

Artesunate is indicated for the initial treatment of severe malaria. The World Health Organization recommends artesunate as first line treatment for severe malaria. Artesunate was developed out of a need for a more hydrophilic derivative of artemisinin.

Artesunate is administered once daily for 3 days. Sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine is administered as a single dose on D1, with the first dose of artesunate.
